The Government has announced that all Regional Development Agencies (RDAs), including SEEDA, will close by 31 March 2012.
Responsibility for economic development and regeneration in England is being passed onto successor bodies, including Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) and central Government departments
Our objective is to ensure a professional and cost effective closure by this date. We have pledged to work closely with our partners, contractors and stakeholders to ensure that the past and future economic benefits of key programmes and assets continue to deliver the greatest economic value for the South East and value for money for the taxpayer.

Managed Business Centres provide small business units, usually including both office and workshop space with onsite management and business support. Business support includes mentoring, links to training initiatives and the opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs and greatly increases their chances of survival and success.
These centres are ideal for small and start-up businesses who do not want to commit to a long lease and could be in a period of rapid growth or change. Units are made available on flexible 'easy in – easy out' terms with an all inclusive licence fee.
Developments incorporate best practice in design, technology and sustainable materials and are rated under the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) as either very good or excellent.
