Corporate Cabinet

SEEDA is working with large corporates in the South East to deliver the Regional Economic Strategy. The goal for the Corporate Cabinet since it was established in May 2008 is to deliver a better quality of life for all in the South East by drawing together the expertise, knowledge and resources of businesses with SEEDA and its partners, in strategic, creative and innovative ways.

Members work collaboratively to:

  • maximise their resources in partnership
  • deliver maximum benefit to the South East
  • avoid duplicating efforts.

Discussion is currently underway to agree how this collaboration between the public and corporate sectors can move to centre stage in delivering SEEDA’s realigned objectives of high growth, innovation and support to businesses.

Past initiatives - National Women's Enterprise Leadership

SEEDA supported and managed the UK's Women's Enterprise Task Force (WETF).

Co-chaired by SEEDA's Chief Executive, Pam Alexander, its role was to increase the quantity, scalability and success of women-owned businesses in the UK, both in the private and public sectors. The WETF came to the end of its remit in December 2009.
