Information Request Details
Provide full details of the information you believe that SEEDA holds which you would like us to make available to you.

Please provide as much detail as possible to assist us in identifying the information you require. Our Publication Scheme (Microsoft Word 57Kb) contains examples of the types of information that we hold, this may assist you to describe to us the information that you seek.

We will try our best to accommodate your preference. If it is not possible we will explain why, and provide you with an alternative option.

Fee
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 we are entitled to charge a fee for dealing with your request. Wherever possible, SEEDA will waive any fee but in some circumstances this may not be possible.
We will inform you of any fees that might be payable before we undertake your request (please make any cheques payable to SEEDA).
If we do not receive your payment within three months of any fees being requested, we will cancel your original request for information.

Final Checks
Once you have completed the form and checked that the information you have provided is accurate, please recheck that you have completed all sections, as uncompleted forms cannot be processed.

What happens next?
On receipt of this completed form we will establish if we hold the information you requested or not.
If the information that you have provided is insufficient to enable us to determine if we hold the information you have requested or not, we will contact you to request additional information.
Once sufficient information is received for us to confirm that we hold the information, we will determine whether or not we can disclose the information to you and whether or not a fee will be payable by you.
If we refuse to provide you with the information you have requested, we will explain the grounds on which we have refused and why those grounds apply.
If we have (i) adequate information to deal with your request; (ii) received any fee (if necessary); and (iii) not refused to disclose the information to you in accordance with all appropriate legislation, we will communicate the information requested by you within 20 working days.

Much of the information we hold is published on this website. Please check here thoroughly before making any request for information. This will save all parties concerned considerable time and effort as, if the information is already published on the SEEDA website, we will direct you back to it.

How will I receive the information requested?
If you have provided an e-mail address, your request will be automatically acknowledged to that address. If you have expressed a preference for information by e-mail, all correspondence may be sent to you by e-mail. By submitting this request, you agree to the above.
