Micro Project

The development of a low-cost prototype involving an innovative product or process prior to commercial exploitation.

The grant rate is 45% and the level of support is £5,000 to £20,000.

Claims will be paid not less than quarterly at a 45% rate, with 15% of the grant being retained (except under exceptional circumstances) until the Project Officer confirms that the project has been completed satisfactorily.
  • Available to Micro Sized Enterprises only (<10 group employees; group turnover or balance sheet <€2m)
  • Grant award: 45% of eligible costs
  • Minimum award: £5,000
  • Maximum award: £20,000
  • Maximum period: Less than 12 months
