SEEDA has now launched its new Women's Enterprise website! www.womensenterprisesoutheast.co.ukSEEDA and its partners are working at releasing the potential of Women's Enterprise in the South East, which will not only make a significant contribution in rivalling the world's most competitive regions, but will transform the lives of individual women, their families and communities particularly in disadvantaged areas. The UK Women's Enterprise Task Force (WETF) was announced in November 2006 and held its first meeting took place in February 2007. Its role is to guide and focus action across the public and private sector to increase the quantity, scalability and success of women owned businesses in the UK. The Task Force is co-Chaired by Dr Glenda Stone, CEO, Aurora and Ms Pam Alexander, Chief Executive, SEEDA. It reports to the Minster of State for Competitiveness, Stephen Timms MP.
