SEEDA LAUNCH SOUTH EAST BUSINESS AWARDS
South East Business Awards call for entries, applications can be made through the website from 5th September www.southeastbusinessawards.co.uk.
The South East Business Awards will recognise and celebrate companies and organisations that are enterprising, innovative and are making an outstanding contribution to the region. The South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) is managing these new Awards.
Companies will be able to apply online for the Awards at www.southeastbusinessawards.co.uk which goes live on 5th September.
The closing date for applications is 14th November. The winners will be
announced on 6th March at the Awards Ceremony at Ascot Racecourse.
Judges are looking for companies which have helped raise levels of productivity in the South East and whose environmental and social commitment makes them exemplars in sustainable business practices.
Up to 32 short listed companies will be visited by an expert panel and will receive a special in-depth report featuring an analysis of their business and suggestions on how to improve their performance. The short listed companies will be the subject of a two month publicity campaign to promote best practice around the region. They will all be filmed and be given a short promotional video of their company after the Awards dinner.
The South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) is launching these new regional business Awards to celebrate and promote business excellence.
Award categories include:
- International Business Award
- Manufacturing Award
- Corporate Social Responsibility Award
- Environmental Award
The Awards are for organisations of all sizes and sectors - family business, plc, multinational companies, those from all sectors including manufacturing, service and retail as well as voluntary organisations and the public sector.
