Farm DiversificationFarm Diversification Grant - Financial Assistance for the Development of Redundant Farm Buildings

The Farm Diversification Grant (FDG) was started in May 2000 as a one-year pilot scheme. The scheme enabled the conversion of redundant farm buildings for a variety of uses. The types of farms supported included Arable, Mixed, Fruit and Livestock, with sizes ranging from 50 to 100 acres. The 2001 scheme will again be aimed at helping farmers to diversify and develop sources of income."
