Business Link Consultation – Response from SEEDA

In October SEEDA went out to wide consultation on the future shape of the Business Link service in the South East.

The consultation took place over eight weeks and comprised a series of six stakeholder consultation events across the region together with written submissions. We are delighted that we received more than 60 written responses to the consultation document. We also conducted 25 in-depth telephone interviews, 150 light-touch telephone interviews, attended focus groups and gathered feedback from the Business Link quarterly Customer Satisfaction survey to provide input from the business/customer perspective.
We have taken more time than originally planned, due to the encouraging response rate, to analyse all the various sources of information very carefully and we have drawn out several key issues which will be used directly to inform the full Service Specification for the OJEU tendering process.
