This research conducted by the BMG Consultancy supports SEEDA’s role of strategic leadership of economic development in the region. This allows us to advise business on the effects of ICT through understanding the:

  • amount of ICT adoption and exploitation in comparison with other regions
  • variation in ICT adoption and exploitation across the South East and industrial sectors and business sizes
  • the impact of different ICTs on business activity and productivity
  • the barriers faced by businesses in optimising their use of different ICTs
  • current business intentions in relation to ICT
