Research & Economics Team
SEEDA's Research and Economics Team is a central resource that aims to ensure that the Agency's programmes, projects and policies are evidence-based. The Team's role is to provide data and analysis to support the work of SEEDA staff, as well as to advise on the commissioning and managing of research projects.
The team can provide facts and figures on a range of topics including economy and business, labour market, deprivation, environment and sustainability, transport, infrastructure and housing.
Current research projects being undertaken include;
- migrant workers and their impact on the regional economy and
labour market
- the use of ICT in small businesses in the South East and its
impact on productivity
- the role and potential of older workers in the region
- the future skills needs of South East employers.
The Team also produces an annual Profile of the South East.
